Why am I being charged twice

Common causes of seemingly-duplicate charges:

  1. Premium + Bill negotiation in the same month — these are separate. $48 + $144 (or whatever the negotiation fee is) = two distinct charges.
  2. Pre-authorization holds — your bank places a temporary hold that drops off in 3-5 days. Looks like a duplicate but only one settles.
  3. Genuine double-billing — rare but happens. If two identical charges hit on the same day, that's a glitch — contact support for refund.
  4. Charging the same card across two accounts — if someone in your household has a separate Rocket Money account on the same card.

Check Rocket Money → Profile → Subscription History → list of charges. Cross-reference with your statement. If counts don't match, contact support.

I cancelled but Rocket Money still charged me

This can happen if:

  1. Cancellation didn't propagate — confirm via in-app status that subscription shows "Cancelled."
